PRIMARY CARE
A network of 40 general practitioners working through 28 GP practices forms the backbone of primary health care throughout the South Canterbury region. All of the region’s GPs belong to a single primary healthcare organisation, Aoraki PHO. Pharmacy, dental, Well Child and Māori health services also are available.
